policy violated?

Regarding the theory that Duke failed to have an established public relations policy that deals with the eventuality of student arrests, I would not be surprised to know that Duke does indeed have such a policy. Unfortunately, due to the politically correct nature of the alleged "crime", established rules were suspended. This is not surprising as we see over and over the suspension of principles of jurisprudence, suspension of basic rules of journalism and even suspension in the basic rules of discussion in order to support whatever meta-narrative is desired in the end.
